Why I started Nova James.

Nova James began with a problem I had experienced for years: finding jewellery that looked beautiful, felt comfortable to wear and was still affordable.

I have always loved using jewellery to complete an outfit, especially during my time working in a clothing store. However, I am very sensitive to lower-quality metals. Earrings would leave my ears red and inflamed, rings could turn my fingers green and cause the skin to peel, and necklaces often left my neck feeling irritated and itchy.

The jewellery I could comfortably wear was often outside my budget, particularly when I wanted different pieces to complement different outfits. I wanted jewellery that felt like good quality without the high price tag—pieces that could be mixed, matched and worn in many different ways.

That desire became the inspiration behind Nova James.

I began carefully curating versatile, affordable jewellery designed for everyday wear. Each piece is selected with the intention of helping women create a collection they can style across different outfits and occasions, rather than needing to purchase something new for every look.
